Yame Gyokuro

Gyokuro is considered to be one of the most expensive types of Japanese green tea. It is grown in the shade for several weeks before harvest, which increases the levels of amino acids and chlorophyll, giving it a unique flavor and a bright green color. The leaves are then hand-picked and carefully processed to preserve their flavor and quality. Due to its high cost of production and limited availability, Gyokuro is considered a luxury tea in Japan.
