Sencha Matcha includes two additional processing steps, including a Sencha processing stage. Because the tea leaves are exposed to sunlight until they are picked, the antioxidant nutrient called catechin is enhanced. This makes it especially recommended when feeling sluggish or sleepy in the morning or afternoon. Due to its high catechin content, its color is slightly brighter than Tencha Matcha, and the taste has a slight bitterness.

Shiraore is a type of tea made from the stems and leaf veins that are sorted out during the finishing process of high-grade teas such as gyokuro and sencha. It is also commonly known as kukicha (stem tea) or bocha (twig tea). Compared to the leaves, it contains less caffeine and catechins, resulting in a milder taste with less astringency.

100% Yame-grown Shiraore / Stem (Twig) sencha is finely ground into an ultra-fine, matcha-like powder. This allows you to easily prepare Yamecha sencha green tea to your preferred strength. Brewing with hot water enhances bitterness, while lukewarm or cold water reduces it, allowing you to enjoy it according to the type of meal. Additionally, caffeine extraction increases with higher temperatures and decreases with lower temperatures.
